This is my semi-finished project for challenge #8 (a roadblock which only I need to complete). The challenge was to decorate our home with a digital scrapping project. There were lots of options with this challenge!
I want to have the picture part professionally printed (this is just on cardstock from my home printer, and it’s very dull — the colors are off). But since this has to be posted this weekend, I don’t have time to wait for a print. I’ll fix it when I get that printed.
I’ve been wanting to make one of these clocks since Donna Downey’s Photo Decor book came out. I’ve had all the stuff here just waiting for an excuse to make one.
The design was all done on the computer, and then I printed it out and added it (along with some black cardstock and white paint) to a 3/4″ thick piece of wood. The clock parts are just some cheap ones I found at WM in the craft dept.
Digital supplies used:
Poppy Andrews’ Frilly paper pack from ElementalScraps.com
Poppy Andrews’ Doodled Flower Stickers from ElementalScraps.com
Fonts: Staccatto222 and Applescruffs
Now to try to figure out what to do with that sketch!
